Eating to Fuel Young Athletes

Do you have young athletes in your family? Nutrition Educator Katie Hegg, teaches about vital nutrients; carbohydrates, proteins, fats and the roles they play in growth, development, and performance. You will understand when and what children should be eating, as well as weight gain and loss for young athletes. Katie will give tips to get your child eating mindfully while following the “Eating for Health”™ model. She’ll also discuss eating disorders and which negative patterns to watch for, as your young athlete continues to grow.
